Looking for suitable candidate for the post of Counselor (Male/Female) for workplace Intervention at Karnataka and Male counsellor for ART centre under public-private partnership in Orissa.
Name of the Post: Counselor for Health & HIV/AIDS Prevention program
Place of work: Karwar (Karnataka)and ART centre Koraput (orissa)
Qualification Required: MA (Psychology) or MSW in Medical and
Psychiatric Social Work with 2-5 years experience of working in the
field of HIV/AIDS.
Proficiency in Hindi and English and regional language,
Knowledge of Telugu will be added advantage
Computer literacy and knowledge of internet will be desired.
Desired Attributes: Experience of working in VCCTC and DOT centre as a counsellor.
Knowledge of functioning of VCCTC/PPTCT/ DOT, familiarity with National AIDS control program
Self starter, ability to work independently without much supervision Ready to work in the industrial set up
Job Responsibility: Counseling HIV/AIDS ,Addiction, nutrition, yoga and meditation. Family counseling, doing networking with HIV positive network, providing psychological and emotional support to patients and their family members. Follow up of patients. Conducting awareness and educational programs, home visits, Preparing monthly, quarterly report for organization.
