The Training – Enhancing Relationships for Positive Mental Health


Objectives:
t  To help psychology/social work/ human resource professionals to deal effectively with cases of relationship issues
t  To help individuals to understand and handle the matrix of relationship patterns
t  To acquaint the students with the physical, psychological, emotional, practical, and legal aspects of different intimate and formal relationships
t  To acquaint the students with tools and techniques of assessment of aspects related to relationship issues
t  To equip students with skills and procedures of handling issues related to adjustment and enhancement in intimate and formal relationships for personal as well as social cause

Medium of Instruction: Marathi and English           (as and when required)

Topics Covered:

t  Philosophy and foundations of relationships in and outside family
t  Nature of problems in relationship issues
t  Assessment and enhancement skills for relationship building within and outside the family
t  Practical: case work, workshops, field visits, interviews


Ø This training places emphasis on self-learning with limited facilitation by faculty members.
Ø Evaluation is based on tutorials and presentations, as well as an open-book exam
Ø Practical applications include case studies, role plays, media interventions, lectures, and workshops

ü  Graduates in psychology, sociology, social work, law, and medicine are encouraged to attend.
ü  All those interested in working in a field of relationship counseling are welcome.
Encouraged for those who want to build positive relationships or enhance
current relationships


Course duration is 3 months
