Greetings from TISS!
Admissions re-opened for Online Programmes
M.A. Social Work in Child Rights & M.A. International Family Studies
The vision of the TISS has been to be an institution of excellence in higher education that continually responds to changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards creating a people-centred, ecologically sustainable and just society that promotes and protects dignity, equality, social justice and human rights for all.
With this view, TISS has been offering two Online Programmes - M.A. Social Work in Child Rights and M.A. International Family Studies with an aim to contribute to the professional development of people in the area of child rights and family studies.
M.A. Social Work in Child Rights (Two Year Programme) : The online M.A. Social Work in Child Rights is the first of its kind in India. It aims at reaching out to the field practitioners to study social work at a postgraduate level thus enhancing their capacity to bring in child rights perspective in their practice. This programme is designed specifically for working professionals who can pursue a high quality online programme alongside their work in the field.
M.A. International Family Studies (One Year Programme) : The programme is a joint initiative of three international universities including TISS who have founded a GLOBAL CONSORTIUM FOR INTERNATIONAL FAMILY STUDIES (GCIFS). This online programme is for those who already hold a Master's degree but are looking at gaining an advanced degree in the growing field of family studies.
Please find attached flyers of both the programmes for your information. More information regarding how to apply for the programme, fee structure, and eligibility criteria etc. is available on our website www.tiss.edu
It would be great if you can spread a word about our online programmes within your organization and to those who might be interested in pursuing these programmes.
